Both the stems and the narrowly heart shaped leaves are softly hairy and greyish green in colour. In summer it bears loose clusters of 1” star shaped, sky blue blossoms along the stems. A good plant for containers. Sun or light shade, reasonably well drained, fertile soil, moderate watering but although strictly a perennial it is best grown as an annual. Hardy to around -5°C. |
