Uniquely coloured small sky-blue umbels with a diameter of 1.5" (3,5 cm). Due to their excellent naturalizing capabilities, these delicate flowers will be yours for many years. This is an easy one to grow, plant 3" (7.5cm) deep and spacing of 4-5" (10-12.5cm). Bloom duration about 3 weeks in early summer.

This drought resistant allium's unique colour and its large inflorescence - which easily contains 75 individual flowers and can reach a diameter of 8 inches (20 cm) across - make it an indispensable plant. The inflorescence is still attractive even after its colour has faded. The plant's leaves are narrow and hairy.

This showy giant produces large, violet-blue globular flowers. Plant them in groups of three or more bulbs for the best effect. Great ornamental value and widely used for both landscape and cut flower purposes. This variety is the result of crossing between Allium aflatunense and Allium macleanii. The bloom is compact, round, and bigger than Allium aflatunense.

Alliums will grow in any average soil, doing even better in rich, well-drained soil. they also prefer to be dry in their dormancy. Position where other plants will help to hide their often untidy late summer foliage. Planting Depth: 5" (12.5cm) Spacing: 8-10" (20-25cm) Bloom Duration: 3 weeks

One flower measures 10" (25 cm) across and the flowering period lasts for several weeks to a month, new florets constantly appear and cover the old ones.
