Treat like an Amaryllis bulb planted in a suitable sized pot, but it will take a few months in heat to produce a flower, as it first needs to grow roots. The flower is like a scarlet allium up to 9” across. Keep the plant in a warm greenhouse or windowsill until the leaf growth replenishes the bulb's resources, then allow it to become dormant and dry during the winter. |
